Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were wed August 20 2011 at a private estate in Montecito, California. The wedding was anything but simple – described as “over the top glam, but just so elegant” by Kim herself. The theme was black and white with plenty of sparkle.
Kim’s bridal bouquet consisted of white/cream roses with a large white bow on the handle. The roses in her bouquet were bound tightly and were not fully bloomed giving it the shape you see below.
The reception flowers (table centerpieces) were large and round in form. The reception was held in a huge, 30 foot high tent raised over a pool (shown below). You can see from the sheer size of the tent that this was an event of grand proportions.
Every detail of the day was planned and executed to a tee – for example, Kim’s “something old” was a heart shaped piece of fabric cut from her late father Robert Kardashian’s Tommy Bahama shirt. Kim’s mother Kris Jenner is quoted as saying “the whole event unfolded so beautifully I wanted to stop time so I could enjoy each moment over and over again”.
