1. Sophistication, with a Touch of Tropical

Popular actors Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Winter were married at Fort San Cristobal in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The pair welcomed approximately 250 guests at a lavish sunset ceremony. Roselyn wore Christian Louboutin pumps with a princess-style, Angel Sanchez gown embroidered with pearls and diamonds, placing white gardenias in her hair. The ceremony was followed by fireworks and an elaborate meal that included lobster and filet mignon.

The fort was filled with flower arrangements, including thousands of orange, ivory and pink roses, with pink and green hydrangeas. The splashes of rich orange and coral really pop against the large white hydrangeas and provide effective contrast to the pale pink roses. Lush greenery and classic urns add to the upscale, traditional ambiance.

She wore no apparent jewelry, accessorizing by pinning a 1920s-inspired headband to a simple veil.

The couple splurged on the flowers, spending an estimated $100, 000 on the budget. A soft, romantic palette of white, cream with hints of peach gives a timeless old-world feel to her gorgeous bouquet.

Although there have been few successful relationships from the Bachelor/Bachelorette, we enjoy celebrating the few which have lead to marriage. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, tied the knot last night, at a beautiful ceremony in California. Ashley’s wedding dress was a custom made mermaid style dress with beaded shoulder straps accenting an elegant exposed back. JP and Ashley where absolutely cute in planning their wedding, splurging on wedding cake tasting and enjoying the beauty that their wedding flowers brought to their reception and ceremony.

JP and Ashley had a stunning huppah (a traditional Jewish wedding canopy) over flowering with white and light pink roses, white hydrangea and dark greenery. It seems the couple was on exactly the same page when it came to the color theme. Ashley wanted accents subtle of light pink through-out the wedding and the wedding planner incorporated this beautifully in the wedding flower arrangements including the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaid’s bouquets. JP’s tux was accented with a very simple white boutonniere. Their backdrop of their wedding included an evergreen wall spotted with roses hydrangeas and other soft flowers that blended perfectly with the rest of their wedding flowers.

The elegant floral arrangements continued into the reception. The couple had tall centerpieces decorated with light pink roses, white hydrangeas, white roses, some white orchids and beautiful green-jade flowers as accent. These beautiful centerpieces are sure to be a trend in many weddings, this upcoming spring.

When the most recent Twilight movie came out, all everyone could talk about was the wedding scene between Bella and Edward. It was a sight to behold and one of the most elaborate floral installations we’ve seen in a while.

Breaking Dawn Wedding Scene

The arch alone would blow any bride’s entire floral budget. If you’re wondering how to use some Breaking Dawn for your ceremony decor inspiration without breaking the bank, here are a few ways to go about it:

Choose one main colour. The decor chosen was white, green and cream, and this allowed the decorators to use multiple types of flowers to create texture and depth. Most of your florals can be something hearty and inexpensive such as Carnations or Hydrangea. Use greens to build depth and structure.

breaking Dawn Wedding Flowers

Another option is to mix fresh and synthetics. If you want a luxe look without the luxe price, mixing fresh and synthetic flowers in the same colour can give the appearance of large arrangements at half of the price.

A lesson that can be learned in this style of decor is to use an outdoor setting as some of the flowers and plants can be used to create a woodland look for free. Additions of your own can further emphasize this theme, but choosing a season when your outdoor flowers will be in bloom will help cut down your decor budget greatly.

Many brides-to-be, wedding enthusiasts and romantics at heart watched the 2011 Royal wedding of William and Kate in awe. The entire event was a spectacle to be remembered for years to come. While it was easy to be swept away by the grandeur of William and Kate’s nuptials, we cannot forget the other royal weddings from 2011. We’ve complied a list of bridal bouquets from the various royal weddings in 2011 as an inspiration guide.

royal wedding Kate's BouquetComprised of a shield-shaped wired bouquet of myrtle, lily-of-the-valley and hyacinth, Kate’s bouquet draws on the traditions of flowers of significance for the Royal Family. Kate was also sure to include a flower called “sweet William” in honour of her groom.

Zara Phillips wedding bouquetZara Phillips’ bouquet included white calla lilies, sea holly also known as alpine thistles and Dusty Miller foliage. She also included thistles, the national emblem of Scotland.

Charlene Wittenstock wedding bouquetCharlene Wittstock’s (princess of Monaco) bouquet included white freesia, white dendrobium orchids combined with pittosporum foliage. The variation in size of blooms created some excellent texture in her bridal bouquet.

Princess Nathalie of Denmark's wedding bouquetPrincess Nathalie of Denmark was famous for forgetting her bouquet upon arrival to the ceremony- the quests patiently waited for it to arrive before her walk down the aisle with white and cream roses!

Princess Sophie's wedding bouquetFor Prince George Friedrich Ferdinand of Prussia’s wedding, his bride Princess Sophie carried a bouquet of white orchids, orange blossoms and white roses for an ultra-feminine feel.
