David Arquette of the Scream franchise has tied the knot again. The ex of Courtney Cox married entertainment reporter Christina McLarty on April 11 in Los Angeles. Their official wedding portrait (shown above) was released yesterday and highlights their obvious happiness.

For those of you who may not recognize her, Christina is a correspondent for television shows such as Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. David, 43, and Christina, 33, have been a couple for the past four years.

David popped the question in July 2014, at Mastro’s Ocean Club. Both the proposal and the wedding focused on family, and included the couple’s son Charlie, 11 months, and his daughter Coco, 10, from his first marriage to Courtney Cox. Their engagement came only a week after Courtney announced that she was marrying Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, but David beat his ex to the altar.

Shortly after David popped the question, he revealed to E! News that it went slightly awry. “I proposed to her on the beach in front of a bunch of people and she got really embarrassed,” he said at the time.

Christina added, “We were at a restaurant in Malibu and there was this cute couple doing engagement photos, running up along the beach, and I was kind of making fun of them.”

“Like, ‘how embarrassing, all these people watching!’” David clarified. “And then all of a sudden…I take her outside with our new baby, Charlie, and my daughter, Coco, and then I ask her and she’s like, ‘No, what are you doing?! There’s so many people watching!’””

Their intimate wedding took place at the Italian restaurant Cicada. The ceremony was performed before close friends and family members, as well as their two basset hounds.  David’s tuxedo, in a twist on traditional that is very “David Arquette,” was actually dark blue and green tartan as opposed to black.

Christina looked gorgeous in a strapless, lace-covered gown with flowing train. She wore a ruffled, more traditional veil to the ceremony itself with gem studded stiletto heels. Her wedding flowers were an elegant white.

David’s sister Patricia Arquette was one of the guests, as was actor Stephen Dorff and model Charlotte McKinney. His daughter Coco looked adorable in a summery  red and white dress. Guests lingered at Cicada until late that night and everyone appeared to have a wonderful time. We wish David and Christina much happiness! Can’t wait to see what Courtney Cox comes up with for her own wedding, which is set for later this year.

We’ve all marveled at celebrity weddings—big budget, celebrity guests, dazzling venue, designer gowns, and all the glamorous elements that make us enjoy the sneak peak into the glittering world of the rich and famous. Celebrity brides are also sometimes bridesmaids, and it’s fun to see how a celebrity bridesmaid can fit into a more “normal” wedding day. With BunchesDirect, you can always get the “celebrity” look for a whole lot less! For fun, here’s a look at some weddings that featured some famous faces, with our wedding flower picks.

Jessica Simpson was a beautiful bridesmaid at the fall wedding of her publicist, Lauren Auslander. This Rhode Island wedding was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings. Jessica wore a midnight blue gown by Amsali.

BunchesDirect bouquet matches: Dreamy Cloud, or Hold Me Close.

Selena Gomez jumped for joy in a vivid blue dress in her friend’s beach wedding in Mexico. Bunches Direct Bouquet matches: Classic White Calla Lily Bouquet.

Keira Knightley was a lovely bridesmaid at her brother’s wedding in Scotland in 2011. According to Keira, she wasn’t very good at it as she kept spilling food and drinks down her dress! For bouquet matches, we suggest: Queen’s Delight, or Valentine Bridal bouquets.

Katharine McPhee almost looked like a bride at her sister Adriana’s Los Angeles wedding in 2012. BunchesDirect bouquet matches: Irish Bliss, or Pure Intentions.

We love the dove gray gowns that Jennifer Garner and the other bridesmaids wore at her friend’s wedding in Montecito, paired with creative bouquets of pink, white and dark burgundy. BunchesDirect bouquet suggestions: Life’s Journey, or White Sky.

Sarah Michelle Gellar in a sweet pink and black dress at her friend’s Santa Monica wedding back in 2006. BunchesDirect bouquet suggestions: Delicate Enchantment, or Fade into Me.

Eva Longoria was a gorgeous goddess in lilac at her friend Bonnie Rodezno’s LA wedding last June, escorting the adorable ring bearer in preparation for the bride’s entrance. BunchesDirect bouquet suggestion: Pink Doll.

Life can throw you a lot of ups and downs, and Lauren Scruggs is living proof. In December 2011, the model and fashion blogger known as Lolo took an airplane ride over Texas to look at Christmas lights with her family. Shortly after landing, Lauren survived a tragic accident in which she lost her left eye and part of her left arm to the airplane’s moving propeller.

Lauren endured emergency surgery and ICU and faced several delicate operations to repair damage that also included a broken collarbone and injured shoulder. She then faced months of recovery and the challenges of coping with the accident, a process which was not an easy one. She now wears a prosthetic eye and hand.

“I thought I was ugly and that no guy would ever love me and I just thought that my life was ruined,” she says, adding that she has slowly come to terms with the incident. “I think I’m seeing that this life is way bigger than me and that I think a lot of things that I held important earlier even in my career were quite shallow,” Lauren continues. She later wrote a book that detailed her experiences. (Click to watch the video in which Lauren gives an inspirational recounting of her ordeal.)

Fast forward three years, to December 2014. Lauren, healthy and happy, walked down the aisle on Friday, December 12, to marry Jason Kennedy, the co-host of E! News. Clearly, she found a guy who is smart enough to see that her beauty includes her past trials and triumphs. When asked about Lauren, Jason stated “God has blessed me with somebody I’ve been waiting for my whole life. Lauren changed everything for me and I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with her.” Clearly, a man in love. Jason proposed to Lauren in front of family and friends, and used electronic candles to spell out the big question on the grass under her apartment balcony.

The lavish wedding took place at the Four Seasons Resort Dallas in Los Colinas, Texas. The couple shared their joy with friends and family and Jason had a whopping 11 attendants in the ceremony. Guests included Kathie Lee Gifford and quarterback Tony Romo.

Lauren, 26, looked glowing in a strapless Romona Keveza gown.  Jason, 33, rocked a dark grey Tom Ford tux.

The bridesmaids long dresses of a soft taupe color. The wedding flowers were chiefly in hues of white and pink.

For the reception, Lauren changed into a dress by Dallas designer Nardos Imam (check out the amazing back of this dress! Love it).

Their lushly tiered wedding cake featured pink and white flowers. If you love this look, check out the many amazing cake toppers that are offered by Bunches Direct.

Post wedding, the happy couple jetted off on a honeymoon at the Rosewood Mayakoba hotel in Mexico, where Jason posted a relaxed photo on Twitter.

It’s so nice to see that after enduring a nightmare, Lauren found her dream of love and happiness. We can enjoy more of Lauren’s beautiful wedding very soon: E! airs the full wedding special on December 22, 8 p..m. EST. Can’t wait to watch :)

If you love Lauren’s look, here are some Bunches Direct picks for bridal bouquets. And we hope you enjoy your own “dream come true,” just as Lauren has.

It was quite the weekend in Venice, Italy, as George Clooney, once the world’s most eligible bachelor, married Amal Alamuddin in a spectacular four-day wedding event.

The celebration began on Friday night with friends, family and assorted celebrity guests as the couple hosted a dinner at the five star Belmond Cipriani Hotel on the island of Guidecci. Amal looked amazing in a fiery red dress as various guests boarded water taxis for the commute to dinner and hotels.

Amal celebrated with the ladies after supper while George enjoyed some stag party time, drinking tequila (his own brand, Casamigos, of course) and red wine (2010 Sassicaia, a very pricey vintage supplied as a gift by the restaurant owner). George looked relaxed and happy, joking with guests and smiling throughout the evening.

Saturday morning, George had breakfast with good friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber. He was full of smiles again, mugging with photographers and apparently relaxed and excited.

Saturday afternoon the preparations continued. Crews erected scaffolding to create a more dramatic landing area with canopies to help shield some of the guests from paparazzi.

Various vintage water taxis were decorated with flowers (our first sneak peaks at the wedding flowers!) and other delivery taxis brought wedding flowers to the venue. The water taxi bouquets are done in a palette of peach and pink roses.

If you like this look, we recommend the Bunches Direct bridal bouquets Pretty Woman, Pink & Peach, Pink Focus, or Forever Delicate.

The tall wedding flower arrangements are ivory. If you like tall flowers like this, gladiolas, larkspur, and stock all work beautifully, (and all are available through Bunches Direct bulk flower selections…).

The ceremony took place Saturday evening at the glorious seven star Aman Hotel, on the Grand Canal. Vintage water taxis ferried guests to and from the ceremony, while crowds lined the Canal. Amal remained inside with her family.

Celebrity guests including Matt Damon and his wife (who were some of the first guests to arrive), Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski (love her elegant keyhole-neck blue dress), Bill Murray, Ellen Barkin, Cindy Crawford, Vogue editor Anna Wintour (in a chic black and silver dress with a fur stole) and Bono (in yes, his trademark black) began arriving at about six-thirty p.m. After their arrival, guests were treated to champagne and canapes including polenta with wild mushrooms, and prosciutto ham with figs.

George arrived with his father Nick just before seven p.m. for the sunset ceremony. He looked suave and distinguished in a black Armani tux.

He used his customary water taxi, which is named, appropriately, “Amore” (“love” in Italian) for the 15 minute trip from the Cipriani Hotel to the Aman. He again appeared relaxed and excited, waving to the crowds. The ceremony was conducted by friend and ex-mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni. Saturday night the party continued late into the evening.

Sunday, the couple was seen strolling in Venice after another water taxi ride, to a brunch they hosted at the Cipriani Hotel. Amal’s dress was a gorgeous (love the exquisite flower designs!) Giambattista Valli creation and her rings were proudly on display. If she wore this to brunch, can you imagine what her wedding dress must have looked like? Can’t wait for the photos, although supposedly there is a bidding war over them (I think Vogue will get them out first.)

And then there was ceremony number two! Monday the couple took yet another water taxi (it is Venice) to the fourteenth-century Ca’ Farsetti Palazzo, where Venice’s town hall is located, to complete the require civil procedure. The short 20 minute process was also completed by Walter Veltroni, who emerged with the couple afterward. George wore a grey suit with matching tie, while Amal looked stylish yet again with a cream-colored short-sleeved jacket and palazzo pants. She added a wide brimmed hat with a navy ribbon to really nail the elegance factor. The couple reportedly left Venice not long after the civil ceremony, no doubt exhausted but elated from their spectacular Venice weekend.

Best wishes to George and Amal! We can’t wait to see more photos…

From the last days of August throughout September we saw some big celebrities tie the knot, with some amazing gowns, venues and wedding flowers. Here are the highlights—enjoy!

August 30: Jenny McCarthy & Donnie Wahlberg

Actress and former View co-host Jenny McCarthy married actor and former New Kids On the Block star Donnie Wahlberg at the classic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois. It was the second marriage for both. (Jenny’s son Evan helped Donnie with the proposal by delivering notes to his Mom.) The guests included Sherry Shephard and other members of NKOTB fame, though Donnie’s big brother Mark was a no-show. Mark Tweeted his good wishes. His excuse for missing the wedding? His daughter Ella’s birthday. Jenny looked very happy (bountiful cleavage and all) in a strapless gown she bought from Bergdorf Goodman.

For Jenny’s wedding flowers and decor, she opted for a glam red and white theme. Red is always a dramatic, high contrast choice with a white gown, and black tux. If you love this look, check out our BunchesDirect picks (at a fraction of the cost). You can also purchase gorgeous bulk red roses for your cake.

(And in the latest news, Jenny has revealed that she already lost her wedding band…while “enjoying her honeymoon” at the hotel. I don’t think Donnie will be too angry.)

August 31: Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade

Actress Gabrielle Union married NBA star Dwayne Wade in a sunset ceremony at Chateau Artisan, a private, castle-like estate in the Miami area which boasts a private lake and a moat. The couple celebrated with family and friends, including Dwayne’s two oldest sons and his nephew. Gabrielle was stunning (as always) in a strapless gown by Dennis Basso, while Dwayne rocked a white tuxedo from Dsquared2. If you are blinded by the photo, it’s probably a result of the rock on Gabrielle’s finger: her engagement ring is a whopping 8.5 carat diamond that is worth almost a cool million bucks. This is the second marriage for both.

If you love Gabrielle’s look, try the BunchesDirect Classic White Rose bouquet, or Snowy Night, with less greenery if you prefer that option:

September 8, Ashley Tisdale & Christopher French

Ashley Tisdale of High School Musical fame married rocker Christopher French at a venue just outside of Santa Barbara, California. Ashley wore a lovely gown by designer Monique Lhuillier with a fairy-tale wreath of wedding flowers in her hair, while Christopher looked handsome in his John  Varvatos suit.

The pair had 6 bridesmaids including pal and fellow actress Vanessa Hudgens. The bridesmaids wore unmatched gowns in different shades of pink, slate and nude, with crown braids in their hair.

The wedding was described as “rustic and romantic” by their wedding planner, and included wooden farm tables with lace runners. Garden roses were a feature of their wedding flower selections. The 100 guests tossed white flower petals on the couple after the ceremony.

September 13: Lauren Conrad & William Tell

The star of MTV’s hit The Hills, who is now a style maven and clothing designer, married musician-turned-lawyer William Tell at a mountainside vineyard in Santa Ynes, California. Lauren has revealed that her lacy, sheer-backed gown was designed by famous duo Mark Badgley & James Mischka. They describe the ivory Chantilly and Alencon lace gown as “simple and classic, yet glamorous.” Near the end of the fittings, Lauren had the sleeves removed for greater comfort and a more suitable balance for her frame. She added a stunning 10-foot-long train and an ornate gold leaf barrette to complete her look.

Lauren provided her nine bridesmaids a choice of gowns in two shades from her own Paper Crown bridesmaid collection. Bridesmaids included BFF and Paper Crown co-founder Maura McManus and former co-star Lo Bosworth. Lauren gave her bridesmaids gift bags containing nail polish in nude and pale pink to coordinate with their dresses.

She based some of her decor choices on an “apple” theme in a play on her husband’s name (in case you forgot, the original William Tell, according to popular legend, split an apple on his son’s head using a crossbow. Don’t try this at home). She found a brass apple at a flea market and sourced brass vases to match; she also baked 50 apple pies for the reception (now that’s dedication). The guests received welcome canvas bags with an apple and arrow logo on them. Party favors included a special “game night box” with a custom “Crazy In Love Eights” deck and a “Recovery Kit” for the morning after.

The couple’s 230 guests were treated to cocktails upon arrival. Lauren entered with her father to the strains of the Beatle’s “In My Life.” Her aisle runner was burlap scattered with gold eucalyptus leaves, and the couple spoke their own vows during the nondenominational ceremony.

For the flowers, Lauren insisted that sweet peas be included in the blooms, as these were the first flowers that William gave her (awwww). They exited to the Beatle’s song “The Two of Us,” which was the first song that Lauren ever heard William perform. Another romantic moment came when William sang to his new bride partway through the reception.

For a similar look to Lauren’s wedding flowers, try Bygone Glamour Centerpieces, perhaps customized with your personal preference of white flowers, with a choice of a delicate white bouquet.

Angie & Brad’s Wedding Flowers!

Featured

By: admin // 2 comments

Well, as we have all heard, there was very exciting wedding news this week! It was confirmed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are officially husband and wife. The famous Hollywood power couple married in a private ceremony in France last Saturday, attended only by family and friends.

According to the Associated Press, the nondenominational ceremony was conducted by a California judge who also provided their marriage licence. The couple’s six children, Maddox, Shiloh, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox had key roles in the proceedings. The ceremony took place in the chapel at Chateau Miraval, the couple’s home near Nice.

The public received confirmation after Brad was photographed wearing a wedding ring while at a museum in Bovington, Dorset, a few days after the ceremony.

Brad and Angelina are soon to begin filming in Malta for their new movie By The Sea. They will star together in the love story, following up on the success of their first venture together. With their marriage official, it’s finally a case of life imitating art: the pair met while playing husband and wife in the 2004 movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The photo below is from the movie, and gives us an idea of what the pair look like in wedding mode.

There are no official wedding photos released as yet, but I thought it would be fun to speculate on what her wedding flowers might have looked like! Early in her career, Angelina was a bit of a fashion mess, often wearing goth outfits or mismatched ensembles. But as she matured, so did her fashion sense, and of late she has been praised for the many stunning gowns she wears to award ceremonies and other A-list events. Her gowns are usually simple and classic, and I imagine her wedding decor would be in a similar vein. Given the location, I also think that a touch of French Old World glamour would suit the couple well. Here are my Bunches Direct picks. What do you think?
